Isostatic Extrusion,ist of a cylindrical die with closed end, pressurized by a moving plunger entering the other end (unidirectional single-action pressing). The powder can be either in a sheath or loose in the die. The compaction may also occur at elevated temperature, termed hot pressing, in which case a pressing and sintering operation will occur simultaneously.
