More about shopping,r language‐learning motivation. There seems to be so much left to do and they don’t feel that they are making as much progress as they were to start with: indeed, they keep forgetting the words that they learned earlier on in the course.

Making travel arrangements,o that you don’t necessarily have to understand every bit of the text. What you do need is the will not to be frightened off by the words you don’t know. A very good tip is to read things through three times before you reach for the dictionary. Try it – you will be surprised how much more you understand the third time through.

Talking about where you have been,tting out to do is to introduce you to them so that your conversation is not completely restricted to the present tense. The practice which leads to fluency and accuracy will need to come after you have finished ., but the course will have given you the grounding to make that possible.

Talking about yourself,nversations on the recording without looking at your book. When you have listened to the conversations, you can look at the transcript of them in the book and read the notes explaining the language used. It is a good idea to listen to the conversations several times before you go on to the exercises in the Practice sections.
