For a small range of sublayer thicknesses, a robust spin-flop coupling is observed such that the alignment of the LSMO magnetization with a magnetic field leads to the reorientation of the Fe moments in the LSFO layer to maintain a perpendicular orientation between the Fe and Mn moments.
