This chapter reviews the main ideas of reduced-order modeling techniques based on Krylov subspaces and describes their use in circuit simulation.

Karl Poppers Wissenschaftstheorielehrte an der Universität Christchurch. Ab 1946 arbeitete er an der London School of Economics und wurde 1949 zum Professor für Logik und wissenschaftliche Methodenlehre an die Universität London berufen. Er blieb bis zu seinem Tod im Jahr 1994 in London.
