Is PGPR an Alternative for NPK Fertilizers in Sustainable Agriculture?,d in diverse crop plants. Formulations containing bacterial strains and soil minerals were proved to be efficient in P and K fertilization. By using the potential lying in rhizobacteria, the decrease in chemical fertilizer utilization can be achieved, meeting the goals of sustainable agriculture.

Microbe-Mediated Tolerance in Plants Against Biotic and Abiotic Stresses, teraction mechanisms and utilization of microbes to completely exploit the biotechnological potential of natural partnership in most of the crop plants. However, synthesis and development of microbe consortia for sustainable crop productivity under stresses would represent one of the promising areas

Microbe-Mediated Reclamation of Contaminated Soils: Current Status and Future Perspectives, production through their bioremediation potential. Moreover, salt- and metal-tolerant microbes confer resistance to plant against deleterious effects of salinity, metals, and other contaminants present in soils. This chapter encompasses a comprehensive review of inherent potential of microbial form

Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) and Fungi (PGPF): Potential Biological Control Agents octeria (PGPR) and fungi (PGPF) also act as BCAs that function through either of the mechanisms. The PGPR/PGPF possesses many traits that serve them as potential BCAs, and therefore possess great promise for successful application in sustainable agriculture. In this chapter, different approaches for
