Protein Microarray-Based Screening of Antibody Specificity,d, the use of a yeast proteome array to profile the specificity of several antibodies directed against yeast proteins has recently been described. In this chapter, we present a detailed description of the methods used to probe protein arrays with antibodies as well as the technical issues to consider when carrying out such experiments.

Multiplexed Protein Analysis Using Antibody Microarrays and Label-Based Detection,the samples, from either blood, tissue, or cell lysates. The third section describes methods for using the samples on antibody microarrays. Two related detection methods are described in which the proteins of a sample to be analyzed are labeled with a tag to allow detection after capture on antibody microarrays.

Sensitive Detection of SARS Coronavirus RNA by a Novel Asymmetric Multiplex Nested RT-PCR Amplificareverse transcription-PCR were in agreement with the results of the microarray hybridization; no hybridization signal was lost as happened with applicons from symmetric amplifications. This reliable method can be used to the identification of other microorganisms, screening of genetic diseases, and other applications.

Enhanced Protein Profiling Arrays for Quantitative Measurement of Protein Expression in Multiple Sas and appropriate controls onto antibody-coated surfaces of solid supports. Coupled with many common detection techniques, the expression levels of certain molecules can be determined quantitatively. An account of the successful development and application of this enhanced protein profiling array technology is presented.
