Histone Deacetylases in Vascular Pathophysiology: Regulation by Vasoactive Peptides and Growth Factolation of histones plays an important role in the regulation of gene expression and contributes to vascular dysfunction. This review highlights some key observations on the role of histone deacetylases in the cardiovascular biology and discusses their potential role in the pathogenesis of vascular disease.

Vascular Remodeling in Diabetes Mellitusknowledge of how diabetes causes these changes remains unknown. This remains a major obstacle to the development of targeted therapies to prevent vascular remodeling and its associated clinical complications.
