Pilot Plant Testing of Microwave/Plasma Pig Iron Nuggets and Syngas Productionsition, the furnace is integrated with a bag house, a H2S wet scrubber, a syngas compressor, two syngas storage tanks, and a syngas monitoring system to process the produced syngas. Limited tests showed molten pig iron nuggets and syngas can be produced concurrently using this integrated system.
