Advanced Concepts: First-Order Nonlinear Circuitsns for resistive circuits. In particular, some circuits with piecewise-linear nonlinearities (either original or obtained by approximation) are studied, showing the advantages of this kind of formulation, which makes it possible to find the solution analytically, whereas in the general case we usually have to resort to numerical solutions.
