Dense Quark Matter in Compact Stars,QCD is firmly established as the theory underlying all of strong-interaction physics, and a pillar of the standard model.Perturbative QCD has been verified in deep inelastic scattering,and the spectrum and structural properties of the hadrons are gradually being calculated by the nonperturbative lattice formulation of QCD.

Nonperturbative Phenomena and Phases of QCD,ic description of the topic would need a large book, not an article. Some material is available in reviews written in a more technical way: instantons and chiral symmetry breaking are treated in [.], [.], correlators, OPE etc. in [.]. Alot of other material has been published recently: one can only consult the original papers.
