Subharmonic Generation of Tunable Ti:Sapphire Laseriation in the spectral range 0,2–5,5 μm and even wider. The central part of this range 0,68–1,37 μm is covered by the main frequency generation of Ti:Sapphire and Cr:Forsterite lasers. Analyzing Astigmatic Beam Propagation by Means of the Complex-Ray Concepteigenray-vector method were presented to analyze the characteristics of generally astigmatic beams and resonators, details are found in Refs.. The subject of the present paper is to extend the complex ray concept, originally proposed by Arnaud. to the general case, and then to study the astigmatic beam propagation by using this method.

High Power Lasers in ROD, SLAB, and TUBE Geometry very often the beam quality is “good enough”, if the beam can be coupled to a 600-.m quartz fiber with a numerical aperture of 0.2. This is an important benchmark for the beam quality because many industrial laser systems use such fibers of 600 .m or 1000 .m core diameter.
