描述This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the 32nd International Workshop on Languages and Compilers for Parallel Computing, LCPC 2019, held in Atlanta, GA, USA, in October 2019..The 8 revised full papers and 3 revised short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 17 submissions. The scope of the workshop includes advances in programming systems for current domains and platforms, e.g., scientific computing, batch/ streaming/ real-time data analytics, machine learning, cognitive computing, heterogeneous/ reconfigurable computing, mobile computing, cloud computing, IoT, as well as forward-looking computing domains such as analog and quantum computing..

Foundations of Consistency Types for a Higher-Order Distributed Language, LCD statically enforces noninterference between data types with weak consistency and data types with strong consistency. This means that updates of weakly-consistent data can never affect strongly-consistent data. Finally, our main theorem guarantees sequential consistency for so-called con operations in our language.

PostSLP: Cross-Region Vectorization of Fully or Partially Vectorized Code,ve vector code. PostSLP is designed to convert already vectorized, or partially vectorized code into wider forms that perform better on the target architecture. We implemented PostSLP in LLVM and our evaluation shows significant performance improvements in SPEC CPU2006.

,Common Subexpression Convergence: A New Code Optimization for SIMT Processors,st model to decide when the optimization should be applied. We demonstrate the potential benefits of our approach through a preliminary hand-optimized evaluation using synthetic benchmarks and a BitonicSort example program.

CubeGen: Code Generation for Accelerated GEMM-Based Convolution with Tiling,e generate code performing up to 93% compared to hand-tuned code. For various other convolution problems, we show that among the automatically generated plans, we are able to find plans with 2.02. speed up on average compared to the median tiling plan.
