A Hybrid Synchronization Mechanism for Parallel Sparse Triangular Solvens. Our web-based and parallel SpTS implementation with this hybrid synchronization mechanism, tested on around 2000 real-life sparse matrices, shows impressive performance speedups for a number of matrices over the classic level-set implementation.
