Table-lookup approach for compiling two-level data-processor mappings in HPF,y using . and ., hole compression can be easily and efficiently achieved. Compressing holes can save memory usage, improve spatial locality and further increase system performance. The proposed method is efficient, stable and easy implement. The experimental results do confirm the advantages of our proposed method over existing methods.

Lowering HPF procedure interface to a canonical representation,s to a small set of canonical Internal Representations. These internal representations as well as the necessary run-time descriptors are also described. The algorithm has been implemented in the commercial HPF compiler produced by the . project.
