The Fe./Fe. and Fe. tetrahedral/octahedral ratios have been determined from the relative areas of the various spectral components. Their values have been discussed in the light of actual literature.

Formation of nanostructured ,-Al,Cu,Fe crystalline phase by the ball milling technique,e values for the bulk .-phase. Magnetic measurements show a weak ferromagnetic behavior with M. = 0.46 emu.g. for the bulk .-phase. After the milling process this value increases to M. = 1.50 emu.g. due to the formation and growth of a magnetic interstitial region after reducing the average grain size of the sample.
