This collection of 63 presentations documents the symposium of the same name held in Banff, Alberta, September 1990. It is the sixth volume of the International Association of Geodesy Symposia series published by Springer-Verlag New York.

GPS Observables and Error Sources for Kinematic Positioning the related use of code measurements to estimate the carrier phase ambiguities is analysed. The estimation of C/A code noise under field conditions is discussed together with results obtained with Ashtech receivers. Error reduction through differencing and/or combination of code and carrier phase observables is reviewed.
