Complex Angular Momentume Jost functions and the .-matrix on the complex .-plane are analyzed. The relations of Regge poles to the ANC and the resonance parameters are established. The so-called Watson transformation of the partial wave expansion, reducing it to a sum of Regge-pole contributions and a background integral, is considered.

Green’s Functions final section of this chapter, Green’s functions are used to prove the Jost-Pais theorem that relates the Jost function to the Fredholm determinant of the integral equation for the physical wave function of the scattering state.
