,Two Types of Jealousy—Phallic Jealousy and Feminine Jealousy,so follows Montrelay’s original thinking about jealousy in women and explores feminine jealousy as the origin of phallic jealousy, what was termed by Freud as penis envy. It also unfolds the term “ravage,” which Lacan coined to designate the mother-daughter relationship, as the main characteristic of feminine jealousy and as its locus.
