Public Opinion in the Weimar Republic and the Image of Post-War Italy, 1918–1922and supported by diplomatic contacts. Analysis of these relations highlights difficulties (South Tyrol and mutual prejudices) and points of agreement (the common past and international role) between the countries.

Searching for a Policy for the New Europe: Italy and the Eastern European Settlement at the Paris Perial agreements negotiated in Paris. Even after the achievement of a solution for the Adriatic question at Rapallo, this critical stance continued to influence Italian policy towards Eastern Europe for the whole interwar period.

The King’s Diplomacy from World War I to Its Aftermathresentatives, and displaying a foreign policy focusing his attention on the Mediterranean area and the Adriatic question. As shown by primary sources from several British archives, this was also the King’s main interest during the Paris Peace Conference, at which he aimed actively at protecting Italian interests in those areas.
