Use of ,N labelled ammonium sulphate and ,N-labelled urea as a source for labelling , with ,N, technique often had a higher %N than unlabelled . grown in field nurseries with soil-water culture. Also, at the Research Co-ordination Meeting held in December 1984 in Vienna, evidence was presented that urea could inhibit the growth of .. Summary and conclusions,United States of America, have collaborated in this 5-year programme. The main goals were to (a) quantify the amount of N. fixed by the . symbiosis, (b) evaluate . as an N source for rice production, and (c) to develop management techniques to integrate . into sustainable rice cropping systems while maintaining high yields.
