Thermal Properties of Algerian Diatomite, Study of the Possibility to Its Use in the Thermal Insulainsulation of constructions. The preliminary results obtained showed that this material is extremely porous (porosity >70 %), characterized of a low density and a very low thermal conductivity. These promising properties support the use of this local material in the thermal insulation.
