Seismic noise,o origins: Noise generated in the instrumentation and ‘real’ seismic noise from earth vibrations. Normally, the instrument noise is well below the seismic noise although most sensors will have some frequency band where the instrumental noise is dominating (e.g. an accelerometer at low frequencies).
