Applications of the microcoulometric titrating system as a detector in gas chromatography of pesticd for a specific detector, because the residue chemist is plagued with associated crop extracts that probably never are completely removed from a sample. The electron affinity and electrical conductivity devices are highly discriminatory-type detectors which have been used for pesticide analysis.

Therefore, in this paper the author will attempt to explore the areas of residue analysis in which fluorescence should be applicable. No attempt is made to make an exhaustive review of fluorescence methods in general.
