Tribological Properties of ta-C Films Deposited on Hard Metal Substrate,condition without lubricant and in water with abrasive respectively. It was found that ta-C films have a lower speed of wear and coefficient of friction especially without lubricant and higher critical load as compared with thermal spray coatings.

The Influence of Detonation Nanodiamond Powder on Blood Cells,gical, cardiological, dermatological, vascular and other deseases. Hence, in this work we cite data on NDs influence on human red and white blood cells in vitro. NDs samples synthesized in Russia were used in the experiments.

Strain-Induced Disorder and Phase Transformation in Hexagonal Boron Nitride under Quasi-Homogeneousdied and their mutual effect is analyzed. The disorder in hBN increased from .=0.077 at 0 GPa to .=0.098–0.127 at 6.4–9.6 GPa and shear which should suppress transformation. A complete irreversible shear-induced transformation hBN→wBN was observed in the whole specimen at a surprisingly low (for such a disorder) pressure of 9.6–10.6 GPa.
