J,J++ — Java++. The Visual Java from Microsoft, a fully integrated development environment (see IDE) for Java that runs on Windows 95 and Windows NT. J++ has several great tools (Applet Wizard) that make developing applications in Java extremely easy and fast.

K,K — Kilo. An order of magnitude meaning 10. in the metric system. In computing, based on powers of 2, kilo is most often used to mean 2.. To clearly distinguish between the metric and binary contexts, the lowercase letter k is often used to indicate 1000, while uppercase K is used for 1024.

L,L1 — Level 1 cache. A term used for the cache memory that is nearest to the CPU, when there is more than one cache in the processor architecture. Also known as the primary cache. See also L2 and L3.
