The Engineering of Industrial Robots,To start with, some figures are given to situate the significance of industrial robots. Currently some 3800 robots are in use throughout the world. It is essential to study the system “man-robot-machine” as a whole and from the point of view of different factors which are of a technical, economical and social nature.

Results and Conclusions of Work Place Analysis Applied to the Design and the Application of IndustrOn the European market there are at present approximately 35 different types of industrial robots. A recent inquiry shows that of 650 units, divided into 5 different types, 90% are employed for either spray painting or spot welding.
