Control of An Impacting System via Inverse ModelIn this paper the control of an elastic link with parametrically excited base in rotational motion was considered. A decoupled controller using fuzzy logic strategy and the inverse model was designed and employed to suppress the vibrations resulting after the impact of the elastic beam with an external rigid body.

Influence of The Stop Stiffness on Impact Oscillator Dynamics dynamics of the system, when the stop stiffness changes from zero (linear oscillator), to infinity (strongly nonlinear impact oscillator). The development of the system nonlinearity is shown on regions of periodic and chaotic impact motions depending on the excitation frequency and the static clearance between the mass and the stop.
