The danger of getting “lost in hyperspace” due to the enormous flexibility and navigation possibilities was eliminated by superimposing a hierarchical table of contents on the data organization. For future versions, the use of different navigation structures within the same system is conceivable.

We have implemented the presented concept for user’s orientation in a HyperCard facility called Navigåtor.
