MR Contrast Media,The signal intensity difference (SI-difference) of two tissues in the MR image determines the image contrast. It depends on intrinsic (body related) factors, i.e. on the different tissue properties and on extrinsic (instrument related) factors, especially the particular pulse sequence applied.

Spatial Encoding,an image! MRI is a tomographic procedure, i.e. sectional cuts through the body are constructed. It begins with directing the excitation pulse, not to the entire body but only towards that slice we want to investigate. How do we manage that? How do we extract from the MR signal information from where it originated inside the slice?

Thermisches Trennen,en, Scheren oder Zerspanen, zählen dazu auch die abtragenden Verfahren, wozu das thermische Trennen zu rechnen ist. Dabei wird der zu trennende Werkstoff mittels einer geeigneten Energiequelle örtlich begrenzt auf hohe Temperatur erwärmt.
