Health care providers in both countries consistently keep charging higher prices for the same services year after year. This price instability is a result of the way costs and prices relate to labor productivity in the health care services secto

Our simulations support the assertion that higher productivity growth rates in the non-health sectors will help to absorb the anticipated higher health care costs of the future. Our model s
