Teaching Science and Technologyed significantly to the development of science. This is illustrated by two examples: Galileo’s telescope and the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO). Both also had social implications that need to be highlighted in education, if we want to present a proper image of science and technology.
