Physiological Variants in PET-CT,neration concerned with adaptation of grids to the numerical solution of partial differential equations has not been covered fully so far in the discussion. The goal of the current chapter is to partly eliminate this drawback by giving an elementary introduction to the subject of adaptive grid generation.

PET and PET/CT in Head and Neck Cancersurfaces. The development of this method was inspired by the need for full automation of big grid codes, which requires an implementation of techniques that enable one to generate in a unified manner both fixed and adaptive grids in domains and on surfaces with a complicated geometry and/or complex physical solution.
