Groundwater Analysis Based on the Hydrogeological Model of Taichung Basin, Taiwanient around 0.1 cm/s, however, the areas to the north, near the Dajia River, exhibit a lower seepage coefficient around 0.02 cm/s. The results suggest that the southern part of Taichung basin possess the potential of flooding induced outflow of groundwater. The flooding due to surface flow could be stagnated by the groundwater as well.
