Whole-Genome Bisulfite Sequencing for Detection of DNA Methylation in Crops,ylated C remains unchanged. Advanced sequencing technologies add to the exploration of DNA methylation to the whole-genome level with single-base resolution. In the present chapter, we provide a complete protocol for whole genome bisulfite sequencing (WGBS) which can be used for whole genome methylation profiling of crop plants.

Dictionary of Food and Ingredientsious biotic and abiotic stress conditions using different tissues and comparative genomics studies can be executed on large scale. In this chapter, we have described basic reference-based assembly pipeline along with the most commonly used open source software/tools to identify and annotate the differentially expressed genes.
