Spouse, Parent, and Co-workers: Relationships and Roles During Adulthood, throughout the lifespan. Understanding these mechanisms will assist prevention and intervention efforts in targeting effective areas of change. Simultaneously, research needs to address questions related to cultural, ethnic, and gender influences on mid-life relationships and the processes underlying them.
