Deendayal Dinakarpandian,Chitra Dinakarescription of the essentials of epidemiology will be expanded in Chapter 2 through an exploration of the fundamental constructs that underpin much of the subject. This will be achieved through a critical appraisal of the concepts of disease, illness and sickness, and their counterpart: health.
