Electron Polaron Effect, Anomalous Resistivity, and the Origin of a Heavy Mass in the Two-Band Modeature of the electron polaron effect is related to the formation of the anti-adiabatic cloud of soft electron–hole pairs of the light band, in which a heavy electron is dressed in the course of its tunneling from one unit cell to the neighboring one.
