Electrode Design and Its Placement, Enhancement of Single-Phase Gas and Liquid Flow, Theoretical StThe electrohydrodynamic technique applied to liquid and gas flows to achieve heat transfer augmentation has been discussed in this chapter. The effect of electrode design and its placement in the flow on heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics is presented in detail. Also, the numerical investigations carried out in this area are reported.
