Diversity in Practice,s chapter suggests the DQ paradigm to help resolve the diversity management issue by having leaders assess whether they need to change themselves, through knowledge, education and training, and behavior so that they are capable of changing diversity initiatives.

Diversity Intelligence and Leadership Development: How Allyship, Anti-Racism, and Inclusive Languagis who does their action benefit? If their actions are only benefitting themselves, they need to reassess their motives. Many leaders espouse their EQ ability without evidence of diversity success. Integrating DQ alongside EQ will help leaders as they seek to succeed with diversity efforts.

Diversity Intelligence, Career Development, and Digital/Virtual Work,ng that organizations and employees need. This chapter looks at ways DQ can and has influenced career development and digital/virtual workplace changes. Digital/virtual work does not lessen the need for diversity efforts. Disability, sex, and colorism are some categories that have been negatively affected by AI and other digital technologies.

Diversity Intelligence and the Need for Diversity Expertise,t all employees and they can learn enough to be fair in their treatment of protected class employees. There are diversity professionals and practitioners who have the expertise to help leaders become DQ and apply their DQ within their leadership role.
