Large Eddy Simulation of Flow Around a High Lift Airfoil,achment and a separation near the trailing edge. To handle this high Reynolds number flow with LES on available supercomputers, a local mesh refinement technology and a low dissipative scheme are developed. It appears that the computed mean and fluctuating velocity profiles compare reasonably well with experimental measurements.

Precision Machinery Using MEMS Technologyulent flame speed with increasing turbulent intensity at the position of the flame front, which is in good agreement with experimental and theoretical data. The turbulent flame speed also shows a dependence of the expansion coefficient and increases with higher expansion rates.
