Spin Dynamics of the S = 2 Magnet in a Cubic Crystal Fieldtric; consequently the two modes are strongly mixed at long wavelengths and the low frequency response may be expressed in Debye form with a relaxation time that diverges at T.. Results are in agreement with dynamic susceptibility theories of Buyers and Lines.

In pure TbSb we find the critical exponent β = 0.20±0.01 in the region 4×10. < (T.-T)/T.<2×10.. In Tb.Y.Sb the exponent is significantly different, we find a sharp transition with β = 0.37±0.05.
