Simulation of evolving systems using FPGA technology,etic encoding as an example, which provides a generic construction scheme for biomolecular functions, we discuss how to employ a massively parallel configurable computer (NGEN) as a tool for the study of sequence dependent biomolecular reaction schemes by direct encoding in electronic hardware.
