Multiple Cranial Neuropathies are meningiomas, but a cavernous sinus syndrome can result from an adjacent process such as a pituitary adenoma. Less common but much more serious causes of multiple cranial neuropathies are mucormycosis and metastatic cancer.

Preventie: voorkomen is beter dan genezen,iple treatments have been evaluated in animal studies, case reports and series, and retrospective studies, as well as RCTs for radiation brain necrosis. Anti-VEGF treatment has shown promise for the treatment of radiation-induced optic neuropathy.
