Bifurcations, Chaos and Self-Organization in Reaction-Diffusion Systems,ted chaotic time evolution observed in these systems. A chemical kinetic example of diffusion-induced spatio-temporal chaos is presented. Finally, we discuss the conditions for pattern formation via spatial symmetry breaking in uniform and non-uniform environments.

Introduction to the Numerical Solution of Symmetry- Breaking Bifurcation Problems,the linearisation of the nonlinear operator and this is employed in the efficient detection and computation of bifurcation points. The theory is illustrated throughout with an example and numerical results are presented.

Global Bifurcations and their Numerical Computation,e basic nondegeneracy condition is characterized by a geometric transversality condition. Further, the analysis of the error obtained by truncating to a finite interval is generalized in order to include periodic boundary conditions and to explain the superconvergence phenomenon with respect to the parameter as observed in [1].
