Losses in Turbine and Compressor Cascades, by computing the bits of information transmitted by increasing number of neurons. Although initially there is a linear growth, when certain numbers of neurons are included, information saturates. Our results support the view that redundancy is a crucial feature in visual information processing.

Neurobiological Modeling of Bursting Response During Visual Attentional modeling of thalamic neurons and their bimodal behavior (periodic bursting and periodic spiking patterns). The effect of NRT on thalamic relay neurons is considered in each mode of thalamic response. We also achieved the results of modeling through computer simulation of bimodal behavior in thalamic neurons.

Sensitivity of Simulated Striate Neurons to Cross-Like Stimuli Based on Disinhibitory Mechanismrtex. It was shown which combinations of the relative shape, localization and weight of the excitatory, end-stopping and disinhibitory zones of the simulated receptive field allow to imitate a selective or an invariant tuning to a cross-like figure of the real neurons in the cat primary visual cortex.
