Visual Codebooks Survey for Video On-Line Processingexperiments are evaluated on the standard Kentucky and Oxford building datasets using image retrieval framework. The results show the impact loosing the pipeline precision in the price of improving the time cost which is crucial for real-time video processing.

Surveillance Video Stream Analysis Using Adaptive Background Model and Object Recognitionined by using a method that exploits context information about foreground masks, significantly outperforming previous edge-based techniques. Developed algorithm has been implemented as a working model involving freely available OpenCV library and tested on benchmark data taken from real visual surveillance systems.
