Analog Computer Processing of Scanning Transmission Electron Microscope Images,is not our intention to elaborate in detail on the electronic circuitry involved in such analog processing. We prefer, instead to discuss the technique in terms amenable to block diagram descriptions. For the details of analog function circuitry, the reader is referred to some recent comprehensive reviews on the subject [7.2,3].
