The Current Psychological Standard of Care in Depression,Currently, there are many efficient treatments of depression, among which the most widely used are: (1) Cognitive Behavioral therapy, (2) Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, (3) Behavioral Activation, and (4) Interpersonal Psychotherapy. This chapter briefly presents the theoretical underpinning and merits of these approaches.
