The High-Mountain Flora and Vegetation of the Western and Central Taurus Mts. (Turkey) in the Timese hundred and eighty vascular plant species are exclusive to the highest life zone of the Western and Central Taurus; 150 of them dwell in altitudes higher than 3000 m. Some scenarios, which may threaten the endemic-rich flora of the highest elevations by climate warming, are discussed.
