Chemical Processes for Demineralization and Desulfurization of Fuelses. Both issues require consideration of chemical processes for demineralization and desulfurization. The chemical basis for desulfurization, and, to some extent, demineralization, in reducing, neutral, and oxidizing environments are considered. The emphasis is on fundamentals of chemistry rather than specific processing schemes.

Biodesulphurization of Coal% reduction in organic sulfur and 50% in the total sulfur content under thermophilic conditions yet to be optimized. New and mutant strains are still in search for higher desulphurization rates and conversion which will make the bioprocess feasible for industrial applications.

Resistance to Photodynamic Therapy in Cancermperature applications have been reviewed in this paper. Also, the results of sulfidation and regeneration experiments conducted using a simulated coal gas mixture at temperatures 1250°–1600°F (675° – 870°C) are reported for a novel sorbent having different loadings of copper and manganese oxides on a high silica-zeolite.
